Location: The Far Plains
Size: ~73 cm, size slightly varies
Characteristics: Light, hexapodal entities that are covered in pale orange fluff everywhere except their thin black legs. They possess bushy tails and head tufts, the functions of which are unknown.
Description: Dandylions are uncommon sightings in the Far Plains, as populated as it is, but they may be found in the most open plains in this area, far from any metal structures. They can be found alone or in pairs as they bound across pseudograss or rest and let the wind carry the ‘drones’ that form from their mass away.
These drones that spawn from the Dandylions’ bodies act as a universal pollinator and allow pseudoflora to sprout blooms. Upon observation, these blooms can last up to 168 hours if not plucked. This presents a cycle as Dandylions frolic across the land and constantly replenish the blooms of the Far Plains.
Dandylions have shown curiosity towards humans when approached and do not avoid physical contact. However, contact with Dandylions is not recommended due to how loose their mass is, with large chunks of fluff being able to come off if your hand is not steady.
They additionally present an acute weakness to water. Their mass proves to be highly absorptive and even a small amount of water or water 2 can damage their bodies. If submerged, they will dissolve completely.
